CW Bayer: Born in California, during the early 70s, CW joined an outlaw band and escaped to northern Nevada. There he resolved that the world needed more cowboy songs. Many years ago, while living in the desert writing cowboy songs, he wrote his first book, “The Celtic Harp At Stonehenge.” He did school assemblies for decades, puppet shows across the state for half a decade, played for many years in an Irish session band, gave talks on gold rush music, played fiddle at dances for a couple decades and wrote a number of books. These can be read at cwrootsmusic.com None of this earned much money, so he also spent a couple decades working in the court system. Today, he plays old time banjo in the park and sings honky tonk swing songs in various cafes and saloons.
